Three men facing firearms, explosives charges in Floyd County Jail after first appearance hearing in federal court

Three men arrested on explosive charges over the weekend had their first appearance in federal magistrate court in Rome on Tuesday.

Thirty-six-year-old Brian Edward Cannon, 28 year-old old Cory Robert Williamson and 45 year-old Terry Eugene Peace, who list their address as 22 Tumlin Drive, Rome on Floyd County Jail records, are being held on federal firearms and explosives charges.

They were arrested on Saturday after an FBI led operation that involved several Northwest Georgia law enforcement agencies.
