Early voting begins today

Early voting for the July 22 runoff begins today at precincts across the state. Congressman Jack Kingston and businessman David Perdue square off for the Republican nomination for Senate. The winner will face Michelle Nunn in November. Saxby Chambliss is retiring.

In Floyd County, you can vote between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Elections Office in the Floyd County Administration Building, 12 E. Fourth Ave. in Rome.
