Dr. Jennifer Dickey Discusses “Gone With the Wind” at Bartow History Museum’s Evening Lecture

Cartersville, GA – On Thursday, July 29, at 7:00 p.m., the Bartow History Museum welcomes Dr. Jennifer Dickey, Assistant Professor of Public History at Kennesaw State University as the guest speaker for the monthly Evening Lecture.

 

Dr. Dickey will discuss the American novel and movie “Gone With the Wind.”  The lecture will include how the book, published in 1936, and movie, screened in 1939, continues to thrive as a cultural phenomenon in the U. S. After the lecture, she will be available to answer questions about characters and themes in “Gone With the Wind.”
