With the run-off election now less than two weeks away, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting information about what reports say were extra-marital affairs for State Attorney General Candidate Preston Smith, six-years ago. The AJC report indicates the affairs involved two women, one of whom was a Berry College student and former member of his State Senate campaign staff. Smith responds to reporters that he failed in that aspect of his personal life but that releasing such information at this time is a tactical move by his GOP opponent Sam Olen, who he says is a former Democrat who does not have the strength to stand up to Democrats in Washington.
