A 23-year-old Calhoun man faces a number of charges in the wake of a month-long investigation by Calhoun Police and Federal ATF agents. Denarius Corey Carter of a Highway 156 address was taken into custody Tuesday as authorities seized a sub-machine gun and cocaine from his possession according to Calhoun Police. Sergeant J. Marquez says this joint investigation is part of the overall effort for police to get guns off the street.
