

A native of Rome, David began his radio career in 1986. He has worked for a number of radio stations in Rome, Calhoun and Cartersville. He was also a television reporter with CNWG Channel 10 news from 2000-2001. Before returning to WRGA in 2005, David was the Assistant News Director at WBHF in Cartersville. During that time, the radio station was honored a number of times by the Georgia Association of Broadcasters, including awards for “Best Newscast” and “Best News Story.” In his spare time, David enjoys playing guitar and listening to music. David loves animals and has several cats and one dog. He and his wife Dana live here in Rome.

Eric has been married since 1996 (to the same wonderful woman, Sherri) and has three children. Radio news has been his focus since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1993. He has worked for 16 radio stations in three states, serving as news director for nine of those stations. In addition to periodic appearances as a guest on the CNN Headline News program with Nancy Grace, he served almost two years as the sports director and anchor for the former Comcast Channel 10 television station in Rome. When not involved in broadcasting local happenings, Eric is active in outdoor activities, (fishing, camping, being attacked by his lawn, etc.) and sports. For various reasons, he is a fan of the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Pistons, and the Atlanta Braves. Joining Rome Radio Partners, LLC is an exciting opportunity for Eric who now works alongside radio news legends in the community surrounding his family's home.

Sarah Smith, a native of Atlanta, is a recent addition to the Rome area and to WRGA. After graduation from Kennesaw State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, Sarah moved to Rome to pursue her dream of working in radio. Her love for news radio blossomed during her internship with WGPB. Married in October of 2009, Sarah and Tommy are enjoying newlywed life with their two dogs and tank full of fish.
