TALK OF THE TOWN
with Nelle Reagan
12p - 1p

"Talk  of the Town" began in the 50s with Ben Lucas hosting the record show and playing requests from the listeners. Ben then became affiliated with WROM AM and 97.7 FM in the 60s and 70s. Nelle worked with Ben when she first came to Rome in 1968. Approaching the late 90s Nelle came to work for WRGA and needing a name for her talk show, Randy Quick suggested bringing the old "Talk of the Town" back. Nelle contacted Ben to ask permission to use the name, and after recieving Ben's blessing, the new Talk of The Town was resurrected.

Talk of the Town hears the heartbeat of the community and national coverage as well. Nelle invites all her listeners to contact her by email and let her know what topics they would like to hear.
